Submission Guidelines
- If at all possible, please send us original and unedited images. If you feel the need to edit, keep it minimal and don’t use filters.
- Images should have Cadence Fishing brands shown clearly, have no competitor brand logos visible, and should have clear backgrounds (where possible).
- We are ambassadors for our sport therefore images should have no blood on fish, including gaff marks, fish should be clean of any debris such as sand, mud, leaves etc. Fish should be held in the correct way and properly supported with both hands. Ensuring safety of the fish first. Remember, the internet does not forget and we are representing Cadence Fishing.
- Fish that obviously look dead can’t be used and we also won’t use images that have been taken with lip grips (e.g. Berkley Big Game Lip).
- No “retro fitting” of lures, hooks and other tackle items to make it look like the fish was caught on the item.
- Images should be in focus, focusing on the eye of the fish. Submit as many angles as you can allowing us to work with vertical and horizontal images. One fish can generate a wealth of different images.
- Shoot with good light and be framed adequately.
- If you are using your phone, please make sure your camera is set to its maximum resolution and please only submit the original, hi-res image.
- Image ratios we use are 4:5 (Facebook), 1:1 & 9:16 (Instagram). For the website we use 3:2 and 16:9.
